Carolyn McCarthy (NY) She is a leading advocate of gun control and consequently targeted by the NRA. She has an excellent environmental voting record.
Kalyn Free (OK) A first American Indian woman running for Congress with very tight race for the primary and run-off. She is endorsed by the pro-choice Emily's List as well as by MoveOn.
Nancy Pelosi(CA) She is the new House Minority Leader from San Francisco to succeed Dick Gephardt.
